Nash and I are back with another podcast, and this time we’ve got a little more to talk about. We didn’t do one right after E3, and since it’s almost two weeks since E3, we didn’t want to do an entire E3 podcast. Instead, we’ve just dedicated the last bit of the podcast to E3, focusing mostly on the motion controllers. We also have a couple of previews and a review in this podcast.
Here’s a brief rundown of what we’re talking about in GamingIndians Podcast #11:
This week’s news
Uncharted 2 beta preview
Virtua Tennis 2009 preview
Red Faction Guerrilla review
E3: Project Natal, Sony’s motion controller
E3: The good and the bad
Win Uncharted 2 multi-player beta code
I had mentioned on the forums a couple of days back that we would be giving away another code for the Uncharted 2 multi-player beta, and here’s where you can get it. Simply listen to the podcast and tell us what Nash and my individual verdicts on Red Faction Guerrilla were. Email the answer to uc2betaATgamingindiansDOTcom. We’re only accepting entries till noon on Wednesday, June 17 as the beta is only for a limited time.
It’s been so long since our last podcast that many who are GI regulars now may not even know that a GI Podcast exists. Well, it does and we’ve just hit double digits; this is GI Podcast #10 (I have a tiny celebratory giveaway planned as well). We’ve tried recording this 10th podcast so many times over the last few months, but it just never happened, either due to technical issues, busy schedules, or sheer laziness.
But we’re back, and what better time than just three days before E3! Don’t expect any special insights though; Nash and I just do what everyone on GI and the rest of the internet has been doing in the lead-up to E3 - speculating, discussing, and making wishlists.
Besides our E3 discussion, we also have two reviews in this podcast – InFamous and UFC 2009: Undisputed. You’ll also hear us mention a Bionic Commando review, but technical disaster struck again and we had to cut that out. So you’ll notice that while our earlier podcasts were roughly half an hour long, this one is just about 15 minutes. But we were determined to put this one up and get the monkey of our backs. We’ll be back with our 30-minute rants for podcast #11.

Warning:There is a fair amount of profanity in this podcast as well as some inFamous spoilers.
We just got back from the opening day of PlayStation Experience 2008, and decided to do a podcast while everything was still fresh in our minds. Besides the annual PlayStation show, Nash and I also talk about the Gears of War 2 Mumbai launch event that took place earlier in the week.
Here’s what we talk about in this week’s podcast:
PlayStation Experience 2008: The show, the games, and details from Sam’s interview with Atindriya Bose
Gears of War 2: Launch event impressions and Nash’s review
LittleBigPlanet: Finally wins Nash over
Midnight Club: Los Angeles: Early impressions from Sam and Nash
MotoGP 08: Sam’s early impressions

The music for this week’s podcast is from the soundtrack of LittleBigPlanet
You guys have no idea about the kind of sh*t Nash and I had to go through to finally get this podcast online. After three failed attempts, we finally, after a huge delay, have podcast #8 up. For those wondering about the name of the podcast, the “Name the Podcast” contest and the contest winner, all that is explained in the podcast itself. Also on this week’s podcast:
The Fallout 3 controversy
The Xbox 360 Diwali bundle
Microsoft’s Fable 2 review copies mess-up
FIFA 09 - Sam’s review
Dead Space - Nash’s first impressions
TNA Impact - Nash’s hands-on impressions
Saint’s Row 2 – Nash’s review
To make up for the delay, we’re working on a contest around this week’s podcast. Only those who listen to the podcast will stand a chance of winning. I’ll have the contest details up by tomorrow.

We couldn’t think of any gaming-related music for this week’s podcast, but since Nash and I both love “Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, we decided to use the them music from that show.
